REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSING: Personal requirements: 1) Be at least 18 years of age. 2) Be a U.S. citizen, a U.S. national, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. Education requirements: Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited physical therapy program. EXAMINATIONS: National Physical Therapist Exam (NPTE) of the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT). FEES: In 2021, pay $300 (application $50, license $85, compliance resolution fund $100, ½ renewal for 2nd year of 2-year license $65). The practice is conducted with strict adherence to the principles of radiation protection. REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSING: Professional requirements: Be current member with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) which includes 24 Category A or A+ continuing education credits. EXAMINATIONS: ARRT National Board Exam APPLICATION AND FEES: $60 for application; $5.00 for each additional area. Between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023, pay $160 (application $60, license $50, compliance resolution fund $50, 2/3 renewal $80) Between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024, pay $340 (application $60, license $50, compliance resolution fund $150, 1/3 renewal $80).
