License Description: DESCRIPTION OF OCCUPATION: A respiratory therapist assesses, treats and cares for patients with breathing disorders REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSING: Personal requirements: 1) Be at least 18 years of age. 2) Be a U.S. citizen, a U.S. national, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. EXAMINATIONS: Certified Respiratory Therapist exam (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist exam (RRT) of the National Board for Respiratory Care. FEES: Between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022, pay $250 (application $60, license $50, compliance resolution fund $100, 1/3 renewal $40). Between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023, pay $160 (application $60, license $50, compliance resolution fund $50, 2/3 renewal $80) Between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024, pay $340 (application $60, license $50, compliance resolution fund $150, 1/3 renewal $80).
