REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSING: Experience requirements: Complete 1,900 hours of internship experience approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) OR 1 year (1,900 hours) of supervised experience in health service in psychology in an internship or residency program in an organized health service training program. The internship must be part of the doctoral program and must be under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, a psychologist who holds an American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) diplomate certificate, or a person who holds a doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution and has 2 years of postdoctoral experience in the work supervised. Depending on qualifications, completion of 1 year (1,900 hours) of approved postdoctoral experience may also be required. Education requirements: Doctoral degree in psychology or educational psychology from a regionally accredited institution of higher education or a doctoral degree from an American Psychological Association (APA) approved program in clinical psychology. Contact the licensing agency for information on application for: a) licensure-examination waiver; b) licensure-senior psychologists; and c) licensure-ABPP diplomates. EXAMINATIONS: Computer-based Examination for Professional Practice of Psychology (EPPP). FEES: $50 for applicaon, $76 for 2-year license, and $148 for biennial compliance resolution fund.
