Thomas Woznicki Discrimination Complaint (Dismissal, March 2012): Transcript

This document in the case of Thomas Woznicki vs Northern Ozaukee School District was filed on March 14 2012 The case of Thomas Woznicki vs Northern Ozaukee School District was a discrimination complaint filed with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Developments Equal Rights Division alleging that the school district discriminated against Thomas Woznicki based on his arrest record. In 2011, Thomas Woznicki filed a discrimination complaint against the Northern Ozaukee School District in Wisconsin. The complaint alleged that the school district discriminated against Mr. Woznicki based on his arrest record. The complainant, Thomas Woznicki, was represented by Attorney Anne-Marie E. Woznicki, possibly a relative. The email on page 4 clearly indicates that Thomas Woznicki was asked to leave the Florence County, Wisconsin school district. This document contains School Board Minutes obtained from the Boscobel, Wisconsin school district. Note the “Closed Session” portion of the School Board Minutes for the special meeting held on July 1, 2014, on the second and third pages. This document contains School Board Minutes obtained from the Florence County, Wisconsin school district. Note the “Closed Session” Minutes for the School Board meeting held on April 22, 2013, on the third page. Compare and contrast the contents of the reference letter on the last page with the School Board Minutes on the preceding pages. All documents were obtained from the Boscobel, Wisconsin school district. The background check was conducted using the middle name Suchomel, as opposed to Thomas Woznicki’s previous middle name (James). The background check for Thomas Suchomel Woznicki does NOT appear to reveal any history of arrests, criminal charges, or convictions, with the sole exception of a minor traffic citation (speeding) filed under the “former name” of Thomas J Woznicki (see fourth page). Also, the document does NOT appear to indicate any history of employment or residency in New Richmond, Wisconsin. This document contains a Criminal Complaint and Summons pertaining to Thomas Woznicki, a former teacher at the New Richmond, Wisconsin school district. The document indicates that the case was filed in St. Croix County, Wisconsin. This document contains correspondence related to a request apparently made by Thomas Woznicki, a teacher at New Richmond High School in Wisconsin, for a “personal illness day” to attend a dental appointment in Appleton (approximately 250 miles from New Richmond) for a “chipped tooth.” The document includes two letters signed by the Executive Director of the West Central Education Association. This document appears to indicate that Thomas Woznicki was asked to leave the New Richmond (pages 23-28), Florence County (pages 57-59), and Boscobel (pages 64-69) school districts in Wisconsin. The contents of the document span a timeframe of approximately two decades (20 years). The New Richmond, Wisconsin school district filed a License Review Referral with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Bureau for Teacher Education, Licensing, and Placement during April of 1994 (page 13). Twenty years later (April 2014), Thomas Woznicki was apparently still employed in Wisconsin’s public school system as the Superintendent of the Boscobel, Wisconsin school district. It is unclear what actions, if any, the Wisconsin DPI licensing bureau has taken related to the apparent decisions made by the three aforementioned school districts. This document appears to indicate that Thomas Woznicki was asked to leave the New Richmond (pages 23-28), Florence County (pages 59-61), and Boscobel (pages 67-72) school districts in Wisconsin. The contents of the document span a timeframe of approximately two decades (20 years). This document in the case of Thomas Woznicki vs. Dennis Erickson was filed with the Wisconsin Supreme Court on September 15, 1995. The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruling in the case of Woznicki v. Erickson established the “Woznicki Notice” precedent, which gives public employees in Wisconsin the right to challenge the release of certain public records. This document appears to contain selected portions of the “audio transcription” from some type of “formal hearing” associated with the case of Thomas Woznicki vs. Northern Ozaukee School District, including selected portions of Thomas Woznicki’s testimony (pages 30-46). The text on page 30 appears to suggest that Mr. Woznicki’s statements during the hearing were made under oath. He apparently agreed to tell “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth” during the hearing. Note the testimony regarding Thomas Woznicki’s middle name change on pages 7-9, 24-26, 31-33, and 36-37. Also note Mr. Woznicki’s testimony on pages 40-46, which appears to include references to litigation associated with his personnel file from the New Richmond, Wisconsin school district. Pages 12 and 35 appear to contain testimony regarding Thomas Woznicki’s marriage. The first two pages appear to contain selected portions of a “grievance arbitration” document associated with Thomas Woznicki and the New Richmond, Wisconsin school district. The text on the second page appears to suggest that Mr. Woznicki may have used “golf records” as his alibi, even though he was apparently the “President” of the organization that produced the records. It is unclear whether Thomas Woznicki’s position as President of the Hammond Golf Club could have potentially allowed him to fabricate or falsify the “golf records” that may have functioned as his alibi. The Boscobel School Board Minutes document on the third page mentions Thomas Woznicki and appears to reference “falsified documents” and “misrepresented” funds. The remaining pages appear to contain a series of emails, several of which were sent by Thomas Woznicki, pertaining to the documents in question. Tom Suchomel Woznicki has been employed as an Educator with several school districts in Wisconsin. Tom S Woznicki has served as the Superintendent of the Florence County, Wisconsin school district and the Boscobel, Wisconsin school district. Tom Woznicki was previously a teacher at the New Richmond, Wisconsin school district and the Manitowoc, Wisconsin school district. It is unclear whether Tom Woznicki, EdS is currently employed as an Educator with any specific school district. In addition, it is not clear whether Tom Suchomel Woznicki has profiles or pages on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and/or other websites.
