"CLASS OF 2016" DIVISIONAL MEETING

Yearbook Distribution Where: Girls’ Gym When: Thursday, June 2 – during 9 th period (modified bell: 9-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8) Who: Only those who purchased yearbooks One-way Traffic Pattern Enter the girls’ gym via the hallway between J-pod & auxillary gym Exit the girls’ gym using the H-pod hallway Students who purchased yearbooks will receive a pink index card as a receipt that morning. Any other documentation will not be accepted. There will be a line specifically designated for students without 9 th period. Work/Career Study students should report to the gym when the seniors are called.  Mrs. Hoffman will have their receipts . Students without a 9th period should report to their home office to obtain their receipts. Additional books may be purchased on a first come/first served basis on Friday, June 3 in the Auditorium beginning at 7:00 AM – $85.00 CASH ONLY

Senior Awards Night Thursday, June 2 at 6:30 PM in Auditorium Award recipients are notified by mail Dress – appropriate attire is: Gentlemen: a dress shirt and tie, dress slacks, shoes Ladies: dress or skirt, blouse and shoes Sandals and/or sneakers are inappropriate Many awards are monetary & serve as memorials to family members of those watching the program. If invited, please make every effort to be present

Cap & Gown DistributionWhen: Wednesday, June 8 at 7:25 AM Where : Auxillary Gym - by HOOF and last name – must have IDAll obligations must be cleared by 2:30 PM Tuesday, June 7 - check with designated HOOF No decoration on cap or gown at commencement.

Obligations Must be cleared by Tuesday, June 7 by 2:30 PM NO ONE is permitted to participate in Commencement practice OR ceremony unless all obligations are cleared.Obligations include:Detentions Saturday SchoolsTextbooksIMC books and finesParking ticketsOutstanding cafeteria balanceGym locksSenior Surveys Or any other student obligations.

ReflectionsWhat is Reflections ? Reflections is a tribute the evening before Graduation which celebrates & recognizes your friends, family and faculty who have guided you through the past 13 years. The program contains various forms of dedications such as musical, instrumental, verbal, etc by your classmates.

Reflections Practice Who: All students planning on attending Reflections program, including tribute participants Practice: 7:50 AM – 8:15 AM following cap & gown pick-up Where: Auditorium

Reflections When: Wednesday, June 8 - 7:00 PM Students: 6:00 PM – report to senior cafe Parents/Family: Auditorium Wear graduation gowns only, no caps Dress – Appropriate attire beneath the gown: Gentlemen: blue or white dress shirt and tie, dress slacks, shoes Ladies: dress or skirt, white or blue blouse and shoes Flip-flops or sneakers are inappropriate and may not be worn – Admission will be denied.

Graduation When: Thursday, June 9 at 6:00 PM , Crawford Stadium Graduates must be in the gym by 5:00 p.m. Rain date: Friday, June 10 at 6:00 PM, Crawford StadiumTickets: 8 per graduate (mailed the week of May 13) Tickets for the Elderly/Disabled: contact Ms. Scott in HOOF E112 for ticket exchangeAttire – Bring CAP & GOWN. Appropriate attire for beneath the gown: Gentlemen: blue or white dress shirt and tie, dress slacks, shoes Ladies: dress or skirt, white or blue blouse and shoes Flip-flops or sneakers are inappropriate and may not be worn Admission denied for inappropriate attire

GraduationPractice: 8:00 AM - Thursday, June 9 th Attendance is MANDATORY Legacy Photo will be taking pictures at commencement. You will receive your ACTUAL diploma. There are no duplicates - so please be careful. Respectful behavior during commencement.

Acceptable Graduation BehaviorEvery senior should have an opportunity to hear his/her name read. All speakers have also earned the right to be heard as they reflect on the accomplishments of the class of 2016. Forms of distraction during the ceremony are unacceptable and not permitted.

Miscellaneous NPTV Video/cookie order forms were home in the graduation mailing and are also be available on the NP website Senior Survey is an obligation and must be completed prior to graduation College bound seniors – if you have not already done so, please notify the Transcript Office of the name of the school you will be attending next year.
