Housing with Services Senior buildings may be categorized as Housing with Services when they provide a variety of supportive services© Aging Services of Minnesota 20146 Housing with Services settings include a variety of types of residential buildings

Housing with Services StandardsThe State of Minnesota does not license Housing with Services but does require annual registration with the Minnesota Department of Health© Aging Services of Minnesota 20147 Health-related services are regulated under home care licensure requirements

Housing with ServicesAssisted Living Providers Minnesota assisted living providers must:Meet the requirements of MN Statute 144G to promote themselves as assisted living Be a Housing with Services establishment and provide the minimum services listed in Minnesota’s Assisted Living Law© Aging Services of Minnesota 2014 13

Housing with Services Memory CareDistinct memory care communities provide specialty care to those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders© Aging Services of Minnesota 201417 Providers must provide a written disclosure of the special features and training provided, however, Minnesota does not require additional licensing to provide memory care.
