During this span of 12 long years CHETNA’s action extends from Delhi to Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana state and has been emerged as a credible organization of national repute. 5. 30 Our beliefWho we are?A child is on the streets not by choice but by compulsion. Push and pull factors like poverty, urbanization, abusive environment, aspirations are responsible for their condition

6. 30Who we are?CHETNA has developed a participatory approach in which children are the protagonists of their learning process. Through education, recreational activities, counseling and collective projects children themselves develop an understanding of their rights and opportunities. Our programmes have been designed in a manner to match their needs and their perceptions. Correspondingly CHETNA acts as a channel to sensitize stakeholders in order to involve the entire community in our projects. Our approach

7. 30Who we are?CHETNA ensures children’s participation. The children with whom we work have designed programs and activities of CHETNA base on their needs and perception. With us, children are the protagonist, and we are the catalysts
