Scenarios:When driving on adverse road condition, narrow, uneven, with smalls stones or sharp metal.Benefits: A predicted trajectory light in car width or with certain tolerance, driver can see the road clear, and pass through smoothly.Predicted trajectory - narrow road guidance and illumination

3. Scenarios:When the vision of driver / other driver / pedestrian is blocked, for example in underground garage, or under bridge, a car is always late noticed.Benefits: The predicted trajectory light can early tell surrounding that the car is approaching, the risk of collision is reduced. Predicted trajectory - keep centered drivingScenarios:Side collision when driving in the same direction take a ratio of 22% of all accident in China.Benefits: When predicted trajectory light is activate, there is higher probability that the driver will keep centered; and for another driver on the side lane, it’s a clear expressing of this car’s driving direction.

Summary 1, The predicted trajectory light can be activated in multi driving status, it’s a new driving assistant projection which can be used in different cases, interaction in blind area / narrow road guidance and illumination / keep centered driving / distance keeping / light navigation, and there are more cases been realized in the market, the value of predicted trajectory light is un-negligible, especially for intelligent and autonomous cars.2, We carried out experiments of safety analysis for predicted trajectory light, the brief conclusion is:For other road participants(Ground driving test):Glare, beam pattern of predicted trajectory light was well controlled, no direct light went to human eye, and the reflective light is not up to the level of glaring.Cognition, predicted trajectory light was commonly understood as the extension of the car, be noticed that a car is approaching.For driver himself or herself(Human factor tests and questionnaires):Attention, compare to none predicted trajectory light , the central direction attention was slightly enhanced; Fatigue/giddiness, nearly same level as without this function, subjectively drivers feel good with it.The detailed information will be published in CSAE 2023 papers collection.
