Straw, Sticks, Bricks and Taxes Speakers: Robert Anderson, CELA and Hyman Darling, CELA Speaker Bio: Hy Darling is a CELA and a current member of the Board of NAELA. He is a partner with the regional law firm of Bacon Wilson in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he is the chair of the estate planning depart ment. Mr. Darling is the past chair of the NAELA Education and Program Committee. Robert C. Anderson, CELA, LLM is a Certified Elder Law Attorney in the Elder Law Firm of Anderson Associates, P.C. in Marquet te, Michigan. Bob is licensed to practice before the U.S. Court of Veterans Appeals. Bob serves as Chair of NAELA’s Tax Section. He received NAELA's 2008 John Regan Writing Award. Bob is also a board member of the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association. Bob’s law degree is from Michigan State University College of Law and his Masters degree in T axation is from Georgetown University Law Center. He has served senior citizens by his participation with the Marquette County Commission on Aging and t he Board of Citizens for Better Care of Michigan. He has also served as an adjunct professor of tax law at the Business School of Michigan Tech University.
