MMSD Office of Assessment Administration: 608 - 663 - 5217 Ju ly 2017 AIMSweb MIDE ( Test of Early Literacy - Spanish ) 17 - 18 The following are appropriate and allowable accommodations for MIDE administration during screening/benchmarking . MIDE is composed of Letter Name Fluency, Letter Sound Fluency, Syllable Segmentation Fluency , and Syllable Reading Fluency Accommodations SCREENING/BENCHMARKING Allowable Notes Enlarging the test form (probe) Repeating the spoken d irections when introducing MIDE Modifying the environment (e.g., specific lighting) NOT allowable – invalidates test results Notes Extending the administration time Providing feedback during administration beyond what is specified Providing practice administration S tudents pre - reading the probes PROGRESS MONITORING Additional accommodations for Progress Monitoring Notes Other accommodations (including extending the administration time) may be applied during MIDE progress monitoring as long as:  the accommodations are applied consistently for the student throughout the progress monitoring period, and  normative interpretations are NOT made. ��MMSD Office of Assessment Administration: 608-663-5217 2017 AIMSweb MIDE ( Test of Early Literacy - Spanish ) 17 - 18 The following are appropriate and allowable accommodations for MIDE administration during screening/benchmarking .
