WHAT IS FIDELITY HOUSE ? Fidelity House has been serving the needs of Arlington and surrounding communities for the past 63 years. As times and needs have changed, so have we. Our current offerings include: PRESCHOOL for children ages 2.9 - 5 PRE - KIND ERGARTEN for children not yet ready for kindergarten SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE PROGRAM for Grades K - 6. Transportation from Arlington Public Schools available. Woods www.FidelityHouse.org Executive Director FIDELITY HOUSE Kindergarten DAY & 1 st grade CAMP FIDELITY HOUSE 2018 Kindergarten & 1 st Grade Camp Fidelity House is offering a Camp for children who are entering or just completed Kindergarten or 1 st grade. There will be 10 one - week sessions (Monday through Frida y). Hours will be 8:00 A.M. - 4 :30 P.M. Extended Care is available until 5:30 P.M. for an additional fee. Camp is offered June 25 - August 31 . Full Day Progr ams are offered June 18 – Ju ne 22 . A separate Full Day registration form is used to sign up for those days. One Week $325 .00 Five (or more) Weeks $300 .00* *Per Week at Time of Initial Registration Daily Fee $75 .00 EXTENDED CARE The PREPAID fees are listed below. d care for campers not previously signed up will be provided at a rate of $3.00 per 15 minutes, payable at pick - up time of that day. CAMP SITE/ACTIVITIES The day will start at Fidelity House but campers will also utilize Fidelity House's Site 2 buildin g /play area with access to sprinkler/ wading pool and Minuteman Regional Technical High School in Lexington for swim lessons and large outdoor space. We also offer field trips and special events. The camp offers a variety of recreational activities geared to the 5 & 6 year old child including: arts &crafts science discovery creative movement sport - indoor/outdoor local parks library visits computer time story time gymnastics cooking exploration/field trips contests &games music, drama swimming lessons (available 8 weeks only ) . REGISTRATION STEP BY STEP At Initial Registration Please fill out the double sided registration form per child and leave a deposit. A $50.00 NON - REFUNDABLE deposit per week (per child ) is required to hold the spot and they are registered once the deposit is made. Please note, your deposit will be credited toward the camp fee and is not an additional fee . Enrollment is accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Before Attendanc e at Camp 1).Any BALANCE DUE for the upcoming week must be paid the preceding Friday. 2). A DOCTOR signed / MEDICAL (Immunization) RECORD is mandatory and requested 2 WEEKS before your child attends. 3). Department of Early Education and Care FORMS are mandatory and requested 2 WEEKS before your child attends camp. 4). ALL MEDICATIONS (short term/long term) require a medication authorization on file . Please request the form if applicable. While attending Camp DAILY items c ampers bring regardless of the weather. Also, all items should be clearly marked with the child's name . LUNCH , DRINKS, SNACKS SNEAKERS, SUNSCREEN BATHING SUIT, TOWEL Personal toys, cell phones, electronics & collector cards should remain at home. Th is Camp complies with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the local board of health. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Children should arrive at Fidelity House between 8:00A.M. and 8:20 A.M. daily . Please call Fidelity Ho use by 8:25 A.M. any day your child will not be attending camp . If for any reason you do not want your child involved in the swimming program for the day or for any period of time, please notify us. All articles of clothing, lunch boxes, towels, etc. should be labeled with child's name . Parents must apply sunblock before you bring your child to camp and send sunblock in their bag for reapplication later . SWIM LESSONS Red Cross certified swim lessons are taught 3 days a week during the weeks of June 25 - August 17 by our Certified Pool Staff. Our Kindergarten/First grade Counselors will also be assisting the pool staff to provide extra hands, extra eyes and consistent faces. FULL DAY PROGRAMS Full Day Pr ograms are offered on all days that school is not in session and Kindergarten age children are welcome to participate also. Summer Full Day Programs are offered before & after our Kindergarten/First Grade Camp right up to the start of school in September .
