Overview

Created copy of PatRecBMonitor to have version that accepts only data (and doesn't require MC data) - TrackBMonitor

Removed all plots of MC dataAdded plots of x,y and z DOCAAdded plot of x-y DOCANoticed some features in these plots

Run properties

1820: 1.6e-9 mbar

1821: 2.5e-8 mbar

1822: 1.2e-8 mbar

1823:    2e-9 mbar

Noticeable behavior:

Higher amount of gas reduces DOCA spot size

There are noticeable lines at 45 degrees and vertically

Slide6

Comparison to MC data

Large difference between x and y coordinate noticedDecided to compare to MC simulation using the

Shows similar features regarding the 45 degree line but doesn't have the distinct oval shape

New approach with DOCA

Trying to make use of the DOCA (Distance Of Closest Approach) and its distribution

Added multiple plots to the analysis to compare different aspects of the reconstructionHistogram of DOCAHistogram of polar angle (theta)DOCA vs theta

Conclusion

Influence of gas is definitely noticeable on the

DOCAFeatures like the 45 degree line are also visible in the MC data -> either part of the reconstruction or of the datax and y coordinate differ greatly in their width both in data as well as in the MC simulation

X and y angle behave differently in data vs MCDOCA corresponds to a gaussian profile
