Description

(describe the game as if to players, using general terms: what will they do, how they will play – define the user

experience)

You are what defines a sense in the human body, but for some weird reason, you suddenly lost them. You must move your five senses to the middle of the board where the brain is located FIRST to WIN, before the others BEAT YOU to it.

At the beginning of the game, you must roll two dice. You’ll need to get a double, so you would be able to get one of your five counters on the board.

Then you only use a die to go around the board, whilst avoiding the trap that will cause you set backs and potential frustration!

Slide7

Key features

(the unique features that set the game apart from others

)

The Key Features of “Make Sense?” has:

Frustration because of the traps on the board.

Potential Arguments (maybe).

“A mixture of Ludo and Cranium which is a strategy, science fiction and slightly sci-fi twist type of game.”

(describe key characters and enemies; provide illustrative art work – this can be sourced online but must adhere to copyright law)

You (Character) and also Enemies or opponents

Slide12

Gameplay

(objectives; explain rules; character abilities; weapons; power-ups; upgrades; obstacles; enemy behaviour)

1. At

the beginning of the game, use the dice to roll any double to place your counter (one of the five counters) on the board

2. Only

use one of the five senses on the board that represent counters

3. Use

a die when you have your own counter on the board

4. When

you land on the trap, look at the symbols because each symbol has specific effects for specific senses.

You

must go around the board and then go to the pathway towards the brain in the middle of the board.

These symbols and what they mean:

Slide13

Blindness: This is the trap for your sight counter ( ) on the board. When you land on it, it’ll send you back at the beginning, due to not knowing where you’re going.

Temporary Deaf-ness: This is the trap for you hearing counter ( ) on the board. If you land on it, you will be sent back at the beginning, similar effect to Blindness.

Sharp Object: This is the trap that can take effect with your touch counter ( ). This will take effect when you land on it and it’ll send you back at the beginning.

Smoke: It’s a type of trap that only effects your smell counter ( ). When landed on, you will be sent back at the beginning due to panic of fire.
