Hold On – you’re in control of the iPad

Protection Be ready – have the app ready before you start and be familiar with it and how you’re going to use it – they’re not as intuitive as you would likeRules – establish rules for using your iPad in therapy and go over them with students prior to introducing the iPadListen or finished – either the child listens to you and pays attention to your directions or the iPad is finished for the day Guided Access Help – Monitor and ask the child if they need help if getting frustratedPictures – keep pictures on your iPad for vocabulary development, etc.Apps- Remember there are free apps as well as paid apps Slide46
