EAH
expanded its operations to Hawaii in September 1996 with the acquisition, via two local non-profit corporations formed by EAH, of Kalani Garden Apartments in Mililani and Kukui Tower in downtown Honolulu. These properties were purchased with the assistance of Low Income Housing Preservation and Resident Homeownership Act (LIHPRHA) Grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. EAH serves as the Managing Agent for both properties.
Kalani Gardens consists of 119 Apartments & Kukui Tower has 380 apartments. Continuing its philosophy of providing supportive programs for its residents, EAH opened state-of-the-art Computer Learning Centers at Kalani Gardens in May 1999 and at Kukui Tower in January 2000. Computer instruction is offered FREE of charges to residents of the properties.Kukui Tower
