A Forgetful NightSlide2

What is

A Forgetful Night

about?

This story is about two

friends

awaken in an hotel room after a drunkenly night,

no phone or money with no idea what happened the previous

night. Jason and Jack try to find their missing belongings before their flight home.Slide3

Why invest in this drama?

Everybody has seen The Hangover and grossing $465 million dollars in the box office, a radio drama that uses a similar however different setting is sure to be a commercial success.Slide4

Format

The format of my production will be a single drama, however depending on how successful it is, a sequel could be made. The ending of the story is closed however there is a lot of other things that could happen to Jack and Jason. This shows how dynamic and flexible my story is.Slide5

Narrative Structure

The narrative

structure of

my radio drama is linear. This means it has a simple start, middle and end with a strict chronological development. This is crucial to my story because it helps me reveal information to the audience one piece at a time and keeps the mystery of the story alive. This keeps you, the audience,

guessing alongside the characters in the story. Slide6

Character ProfilesSlide7

Jason Young

Jason is a young English teenager (18 years old) from Wokingham, Berkshire. He and Jack are friends who both attend college together. Jason is an introverted extrovert

who

enjoys being on top of things.

Jason

also enjoys social events and being in funny situations. Jason’s interests include music, sport, socialising and film.

Jason will be represented as the natural leader who is desperately trying to solve the situation they are in in time for their plane flight home. Slide8

Jack Smith

Jack is the same age as Jason and is from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Jack is incredibly fashion and music driven. How he comes across and his style are important to his personality. Jack is a swoon with the women and always provides a laugh even in the most tragic and serious of situations. A quirky character and of average height, he enjoys

very specific music

and going to parties or events as much as possible. Jacks interests include fashion, music, gaming and socialising.

Jack will be represented with no hope of the situation being solved, he believes him and Jason might as well run away and start a new life after knowing the extent to the situation they are in.Slide9

Target Audience

My target audience is very specific as it is mostly only relatable to those who drink or have had a drunkenly night out. This allows for multiple socio-economical groups as drinking is not separated via class.Slide10

Where will it be aired

This radio drama is suited to be aired on major radio stations such as BBC Radio and etc. I also plan to upload it to YouTube on a later date after the initial release of the drama

.

6:30pmSlide11
