In 1540 many Spain conquistadors marched right into North Americas land. Their commander was Francisco Vasquez De Coronado.Slide4

Coronado was a noble man unlike his brother who spent all of the family's fortune. Slide5

The Seven Cities has as much gold as Aztec empire once had.Slide6

To find land Coronado marched to the plains which now I known as Kansas. They met an American Indian, he told them a story about where the gold was.Slide7

hey went and found no gold. Angry he had to kill the slave. He went back and was charged for bad leadership and for mistreating Indians also for not finding any gold. But they did have the change to spread Christianity to Indians in North America. Slide8
