On-Level vs. Accelerated Both cover the exact same standards Both prepare the student for advanced math classes. Both culminate with a state-required EOCT exam (20% of course grade) How are they alike ?
Accelerated Math moves at a much faster pace and incorporates less directed teaching. On-level Math incorporates more directed instruction and teaching techniques. Accelerated Math requires the individual student to analyze and investigate independently when problem-solving. On-level Math incorporates more guided practice through the problem-solving process. How are they different ?
