20. 20NSW SES: Know your risk social tilesDownload social tilePost: Driving through floodwater is very dangerous. Floodwater may prevent you from seeing the roads clearly and can erode road and path surfaces leaving potholes and sinkholes. If you come across a flooded road, stop, turn around and find another route. Find out more about your flood risk visit www.ses.nsw.gov.au Translations available: Arabic, Chinese – Simplified, Chinese – Traditional, Farsi, Korean and PunjabiPost: Do you follow flood warnings and advice? Know your risk and download the Bureau of Meteorology app, follow the NSW SES Facebook or visit the website for updates www.ses.nsw.gov.au Download social tileDownload the full set of social tiles hereTranslations available: Arabic, Chinese – Simplified, Chinese – Traditional, Farsi, Korean and Punjabi

21. Understanding the chance of flooding social video21Reshare the social videoPost: As seen during the recent floods, terms to explain flood probability, likelihood and size can be confusing and misused.  Infrastructure NSW and the SES have created this video to help explain these terms, using the recent floods in the Hawkesbury-Nepean Valley as a case study.  The key point is that even though we’ve seen multiple floods recently, it unfortunately doesn’t mean we won’t see them again soon. Know your risk and learn more about the things you can do before a flood www.ses.nsw.gov.au/flood-resources/before-a-flood/things-you-can-do-before-a-flood/
