Contract Closeout in SPS Once contracts are marked as closed in EDA, some Components may want to close the contracts in SPS as well in order to keep systems in sync, although this is not requiredMass Closing Contracts in SPS:If the Component POCs for CCO are not SPS users, they should work with the SPS contracting office users to determine if the contracts are still open in PD2If POCs would like to mark these contracts as closed without having to manually close them in PD2, then the SPS System Administrator for each office should send a request to the SPS Help Desk to request a custom script to close contracts in SPS. The SPS Help Desk should route the request for a custom script to the organization’s Customer Support Team (CST). This request should be approved by the SPS Desk Officer. The CST will work with the System Administrator to write a script specific to database & contracts to be closed.CSTs will draw from same script library to ensure consistent closeout across all sites/orgsThis is not meant to be a regular event, but rather to clear large backlogs of contracts that were closed in another systemSPS Closeout POCs: Jackie Bostic (jackie.Bostic@dla.mil) & Darryn Miller (darryn.miller.ctr@dla.mil) FEBRUARY 2019 1
