Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela Was an African civil rights leader. His life long goal was similar to martin Luther king Jr. his goal was to achieve equal rights for non-white people. He was in prison for 27 years. Nelson Mandela had to have a lot of perseverance to do this.

Examples of perservenence

Curby is going to take his drivers test for the first time. He fails the test. He study's and prays to god to give him the strength to pass the test. Curby goes to take his drivers test a 2

time and passes! Curby thanks god that he passed the test and gave him strength. This shows perservenence because Curb did not give up and kept trying.

Curby can go take his drivers test. His parents have been telling him to study but he’s to lazy and scared that he will fail even when he study's. Curbys mom told him he was going to take him drivers test on Friday. Friday came and Curby still had not studied. Curbys mom dropped him off to take his test and he didn't go in because he hadn't studied and was scared. This doesn’t show perservenence because
