Formed in October 2013 by Transport for London, together we aim to...

Lead the way in creating a sustainable increase in retimed

deliveries across LondonWork with industry to actively undertake long-term changesCollaborate to identify and overcome issues and barriersProvide leadership and best practice examples of benefits

e.g. improved road safety, efficiencies and reduced congestionPromote and encourage more retiming through advice, guidance and toolsSlide5

Progress to date – businesses

Reviewed deliveries and opportunities at

27 stores across the 3 boroughs

Sainsbury’s

have reviewed 20 stores

- 60

receive deliveries outside

the

daytime peak

Successfully

(identified as difficult) by moving the existing delivery time outside the daytime peak

Tesco have retimed

stores inside the M25

and

plan

to introduce

change for another 300 nationwide by March 2016
