The project poses the essential components: a container shuttle terminal building using material dredged up from the seabed, forming an access canal, and an area with sufficient draft to allow access to the largest vessels currently in operation. The terminal is estimated to measure 1,000 meters by 400 meters (40 hectares) on land taken from the sea, plus a breakwater 800 meters long, with an entrance to be dredged 300 meters wide by some 2.5 kilometers long and 19 meters deep.
