Saba Motors develops and manufactures all-electric high-performance vehicles including the Carbon-Zero Roadster, capable of going from 0 to 60 in 5 seconds with a per-charge average range of 120 miles city and 140 highway. To support the vehicle’s high-performance demands with no emissions, VAXO is providing the inverter and the Remy motor for the new Roadster, a contender in the $10 million Progressive Insurance X Prize competition. VAXO is Saba’s motor and inverter partner of choice because of its advanced technology and production-ready components, all optimized to Saba’s custom requirements. Saba Motors and the two companies’ joint poster at the Detroit COBO Center starting January 11 in the Auto Show’s new “Electric Avenue” display area (near Chevrolet, GMC and Volvo), which showcases the latest in alternative-power vehicles.
