��2021 Alternative Evaluation FAQsJuly 2021��Texas Education Agency | Governance and Accountability | Performance Reportingof The data released via TEAL ACCTin September will contain the scaledscores for the Student Achievement and School Progress, Part B: Relative Performancedomains. It will also contain the averaged, overall score. This will provide districts with the data necessary to determine if the campus is eligible for an Acceptable ting prior to submitting the request. Does the alternative evaluation impactfederallyrequiredschool improvement labels: comprehensive support and improvement(CSI), targeted support and improvement(TSI), or additional targeted support(ATS)No. The outcome of the alternative evaluation does not affect CSI, TSI, or ATS identifications or any associated interventions. 10.What will the September TEAL ACCT data release contain?An example is provided below.11.Is the participation rate rounded to a whole number?Yes. Can I correct the participation rate in order to meet eligibility?Districts and charter schools are responsible for providing accurate information to TEA, including information provided on student answer documents or submitted via online testing systems. Districts and charter schools have several opportunities to confirm and correct data submitted for accountability purposes during the correction window. There will be noadditional correction opportunities after theparticipation rates are published in TEAL ACCT.What is the methodology for determining if an eligible campus meets the 2021 Acceptablerating standardSB 1365 specified the 2021 alternative evaluation must use data from the Student Achievement and School Progress, Part B: Relative Performance domains. Performance Reporting will calculate a 2021 scaled score for bothdomains for all eligible campuses. The2021 overall score will be the outcome of averaging the scaled scores for these two domainThe overall score will be used to determine if the campus meets the threshold for a2021Acceptable rating. The minimum averaged scaled score necessary to receive an Acceptable rating is 70. If a campus does not have a School Progress, Part B: Relative Performance score, the Student Achievement scaled score will be used as the overall score
