3. Different types of business documentsBusinesses world wide use a wide variety of business document, but many of these are linked to commonly used software packages. Here we are looking at the Four Main Microsoft Office Applications.Microsoft Office incorporates:Word – A word processing software packageExcel – An Electronic Spreadsheet Program used for organising and managing dataPublisher – A publications and design software packagePowerPoint – A presentation software package

Word allows the inclusion of Text, Image, Tables, charts, shapes and much more.Word also allows each organisation to safe pre-detailed formats such as letterheads, reports, invoices etc.To develop effective skills in using word take a look at the packages offered within your workplace and experiment with these.
