As the district governor represents the International Association of Lions Clubs in the district, the zone chairperson

and acts on behalf of the clubs in the zone at the district level. The zone chairperson forwards the concerns and suggestions discussed at the district governor’s advisory committee meeting, and shares them with the district cabinet.
The zone chairperson also needs to communicate priorities from the district to the clubs in the zone.This will ensure the district objectives and priorities are supported throughout the district.
