Listen carefully without judgement.

Treat others as human beings, not political pawns. Slide4

Research the issues, laws, statistics, and current events.

Read reliable news sources:

The Atlantic, NPR, LA Times, NY Times, Washington PostSlide5

Show upStand up Speak up

Visibly show your support – but displaying a sign or poster is just a start.

Be reliable; follow through on your promises.

Call out bad behavior when you see it.

Speak your truth. Speak truth to power. Slide6

Take Action

Vote. Encourage others to vote.

Call Congress.

Attend town halls.
