To take a deeper look at unjust realities, and question those injustices.

To build direct relationships with those we meet, striving to see each person’s God given human dignity.

How do students apply?

Go to the Christian Service Immersion page on the JHS website

Fill-out the Online Immersion Application, this includes: Student essay responses, selecting service preferences, making $100 online deposit, signing an agreement of understanding

Print out the recommendation request slips and directly give to two faculty/staffMrs. Anderson will send you an Interview time via your student email address (Interviews run for about three weeks starting on Oct. 24)

What is the commitment level of being an Immersion participant?

Completing an Immersion fulfills the senior service graduation requirement.

A grade will be given at the end of summer.

TBD January Parent, Student, Trip Leader Evening Meeting

Wednesday, February 15 - Team Meeting during Collaboration Period

Wednesday, March 1 - Minimum of $300 in Donations is Due

Thurs., March 9: Mandatory Day of Training, 9am-3pm (No School this Day)

Wednesday, May 3: Class Mass & Service Commissioning in the Chapel

Immersion Trip (from the time the trip begins until it ends, student must be present to the entire experience)

Two weeks after student has returned from his Immersion the final essay and advocacy project are due Slide13
