and school-level progress measures.

‘This

guide is for all primary schools.

It

sets out how we’ll calculate primary school accountability measures. The 2016

school performance tables

will reflect these

calculations. A

summary document is also available, and a video explaining how we measure primary school performance

No

school will be formally identified as coasting until after the revised 2016 results are published in December 2016 for

KS2.

The numbers in this document are therefore subject to change, following the publication of the revised results.’‘The Education and Adoption Act 2016

allows the Secretary of State to identify and support coasting schools for the first time. A coasting school is one that over time does not support its pupils to fulfil their potential.’Slide6
