pointing at her face which makes her face stand out. The emphasis could also be her forehead since her eyebrows are a famous trait. She also illustrated a circle which has her idea of death.

Many of her paintings transmit the pain she feels. She had several sad occurrences in her lifetime, including a miscarriage and a failed marriage. She was heartbroken when her husband, Diego

Rivera cheated on her. A lot of her self portraits she drew in shame, because she felt that she was ugly. She constantly lived in pain and drew for herself and did not consider herself an artist.
