Test Sessions To accommodate various technology needs, students may test on different days per content area. Each content area (e.g. Mathematics ) may be tested over multiple days. Multiple test sessions may be scheduled each day for each content area . Each student must complete the test in a single, continuous test session per content area. 6

SearchSearch box helps to locate a specific record or information. Type in the details of the information you are looking for. For example, to find Session A, type in the letter "S" or a partial/full session name in the session search text-box, and click  Search. 28

Show All ResultsCheck boxes provide an option to select one or more records or tasks. To find specific records or tasks, select one or more check boxes. To find a complete list of records (as compared to searching for a specific record), use the Show all results option.  29

Icons and Links Click the information icon to see additional information. Date icons provide access to a calendar. Click the date icon to select a date for a task. Links take you to different areas within the system. Click a link to go to a different web page. For example, click the  Forgot Username  link to see instructions on how to get your username. 30

User Roles and Permissions List Some features are only available to some user accounts. Each user account has a user role(s) and permissions associated with it. These permissions control the data the user can view and actions the user can perform. The User Roles and Permissions List will be posted under Support > Documentation . 31

Move Students Between SessionsAfter selecting the students and the Move Students between Sessions task, add the session where you will be moving the student, or select the Create Session button to create a new session. Click Move. 62

Start Test SessionAfter a test session has been prepared, it can then be started. From the Students in Sessions screen, you can start one session at a time or in the Combined View , you can start multiple sessions simultaneously. 64

Student TestNav Sign In After the TestNav app is launched, the TestNav Sign In screen will appear Students will enter the Username and Password from the printed student testing ticket provided by the Test Administrator and click Sign In 68

Monitor Test SessionFrom Testing > Students in Sessions: 69

Student Test Statuses Ready The student has not yet started the test: If a student was assigned a test, but never started the test, they would have a status of Ready. A test session cannot be stopped until students in Ready status have either been removed or marked complete so that all students in the session have a status of Complete or Marked Complete . Active The student has logged in and started the test. If the student exits the test and the status is Active, the student cannot resume testing unless the status is changed to Resumed Upload.Exited The student has exited TestNav but has not submitted test responses. The student cannot resume testing unless the status is changed to Resumed. If the student will not resume testing for any reason, then the status must be changed to Marked Complete. 70

Student Test Statuses (cont.) Resumed/ Resumed Uploaded The student has been authorized to resume the test, but has not yet logged in. Completed The test has been submitted by the student through TestNav and the data has been processed. This status cannot be changed, except by using Undo Student Test Submission. Marked Complete The student has exited TestNav and will not resume the same test, or has never logged in to a test, but the test session needs to be stopped. This status cannot be changed, except by using Undo Student Test Submission. 71
