Los Cabos Tourism Board COVID - 19 Reactive Statement C ontainment protocols in place at the SJD International Airport The Los Cabos Tourism Board has been proactively working with national and local health authorities to ensure the safety of all travelers who are currently visiting the destinatio n . We want to reassure all visitors that everyone’s health and safety is our top priority , and we have implemented enhanced procedures to control the spread of COVID - 19 at the Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) : • Implementation of health screenings to detect and isolate travelers suspected to be infected with the virus , including the following: o I nstall ation of sanitary filters at all points of entry to conduct passenger wellness checks including the following: ▪ 1 before the x - ray filters ▪ 1 filter in the FBO right before cu s toms ▪ These filters will have both medical personnel and state police present . ▪ The airport is coordinating all international air traffic activity throug h terminal 2 and all domestic air traffic activity is coordinated in terminal 1. o Thermal imaging to monitor and identify passengers with temperatures higher than 99.0 F o Risk factor questionnaire to asses travelers arriving in Los Cabos accessible only through mobile devices by visitin g the following link: http://afac.hostingerapp.com/ or scanning the QR code displayed in the airport in order to limit person - to - person contact • Isolation of infected travelers • Requirement under the Baja California Sur’s State authority’s mandate for masks or face coverings to be wor n by all individuals at the airport and throughout the destination at all times when interacting with others who are not members of their household in public or private spaces, except for certain instances, such as when eating or drinking , etc. • Timely alerts to

communicate positive COVID - 19 cases at the airport • Strict implementation of social distancing measures at arrivals, check in, and while handling luggage, such as: o Airport staff and passengers to maintain a safe distance from others at all times including at check in, immigration area, luggage drop - off and pick up, boarding, and disembarking among many others. o Airport staff to avoid touching passeng er and crew boarding passes, luggage, identification documents, credit cards, mobile devices, etc. o Seating arrangement to ensure separation and healthy distancing protocols. • Increased sanitization and routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces and equ ipment, including equipment to transport luggage or cargo, scanners, touch screens, handrails, etc. • Dedicated person nel to respond to all COVID - 19 related questions. • Rigorous communication of all health and safety protocols from tour operators/guides/serv ice provides to tourists visiting the destination. Other filters throughout Baja California Sur : As part of the epidemiological surveillance actions, the following additional s anitary filters have been installed in all ports ( Pichilingue and Santa Rosalía); four i nternational airports (San Jose del Cabo, La Paz, Loreto and Cabo San Lucas) ; roads entering the state (the Tanspeninsular highway near San Ignacio). At these filters , medical perso n nel will review the body temperature of those who arrive and if a suspicious case is found , they will be brough t to health care specialists to be attended to further, in strict adherence to the WHO action protocols. There are confirmed cases of COVID - 19 in Los Cabos. All confirmed cases have been in quarantine and are under close medical supervision to avoid the spread of the virus .
