So, we decided to defined an strategy as outlined below to encouragement them to work freely and create visibility in the society

Women in Science Award (WiSA)WiSA is created to highlight the contribution of female students and young professionals in Nepal creating a better space within the society and beyond. The distinction between these two categories help people realize the gap between their education and career and work to fill the gap.

Meet and GreetMeet and Greet provides a forum for female professionals and students to share their experience in society including harassment which is one of the major factors demotivating female students and young professionals to move ahead with their career in STEM.

AppreciationsWe started appreciating the work of female journalists since 2018 and plan to expand it to female science teachers so that we can achieve our goal of exposure, engagement and empowerment of female working in STEM in Nepal.

What next?

We are looking forward to take Women in science award at regional level by 2020 and looking for sponsors
