You will be taken to the Account Activation page. Fill in your information in the appropriate fields. Then, fill in the Captcha field by
typing
in the
words
into the box.
Note
: Be sure to enter your birthday in mm/dd/yyyy format. Include the slashes and the full year. For example, 01/30/1978. Slide5

Make sure to answer 5 different challenge questions that will require 5 different answers. Slide6

Choose
a Password. Create a password using the CUNYfirst password criteria and enter it in the
Password
field
.

password criteria:
• Password must be at least 8 characters long.• Password must contain at least 1 uppercase letter. • Password must have at least one number character or one special character (!, @, #, etc.).
• Password
must not be one of 4 previous passwords.

You have now created your CUNYfirst account. Write down your username and EMPLID (CUNY ID) and keep it in a safe place

Note:
Your username
has a period between your first name and last name followed by the last two digits of your EMPLID (CUNY ID).Slide8

stands for College Account Management System.
Through the CAMS page you manage your QC Username account which allows you access to the wireless network, MyQC, and much more. Slide9

To Sign up for your
account
go to https://cams.qc.cuny.edu and click on
Get Started and Sign Up.

To begin creating your account, you must first enter your:

PIN (Last 6 of EmplID)
Zip Code

Your QC Username account will be DeActivated. To begin your account activation, click on the

In order to activate the QC Username account, a password must be created. Make sure your password meets the required criteria. Slide13

QCard
Every faculty member must carry a QCard at all times, which allows you to:
check out materials from the Rosenthal Library
Access computer labs
Purchase meal plans and pay for food at QC dining locations
Access classrooms on campus
To get your QCard, visit Dining Hall 128 (back of OneStop
Service Center) Monday –Friday from 9am to 5pm. Slide15
