Critical Control 1 Permit to work Points clipped and locked SAFEWORKING SYSTEMS APPLIED TO PROTECT PERSONNEL AND PLANT FROM TRAINS AND TRACK MACHINES ON THE RAILWAY LINE WORK IS BEING PERFORMED

Critical Control 2SAFEWORKING SYSTEMS APPLIED TO PROTECT PERSONNEL AND PLANT FROM TRAINS AND TRACK MACHINES ON THE ADJACENT RAILWAY LINE Physical engineering controls in place for the planned works to safeguard personnel and plant from adjacent line running.

Critical Control 3WORKSITE DELINIATION APPLIED TO PROTECT WORKERS FROM OTHER RAILWAY OPERATIONS CONDUCTED NEARBY Boundary of responsibility has been clearly identified between different work groupsControls are in place to address the interface coordination between the work groupsAll people entering the worksite contact the responsible person, undertake any required induction, pre-work brief and permits.

Critical Control 4 SAFE SYSTEMS OF WORK APPLIED WHEN PLANT AND PERSONNEL REQUIRED TO WORK IN ELECTRIFIED AREA OR CLOSE TO SERVICES Are the isolation permit controls implemented and being monitored by the responsible person?Are controls (height, slew restrictors or other isolation controls) in place to prevent plant encroaching overhead wiring or services.

Critical Control 5ALL ROLLINGSTOCK TO BE OPERATED IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE PLANNED WORKS CONFORMS TO THE STANDARDS RELEVANT TO THE RAILWAY THEY ARE TO OPERATE ON Rolling stock is registered for use on the railway i.e.. TOC, Sticker . Pre-mobilisation checks have been completed and signed off by LOR repRestrictions assigned to the rolling stock (speed, out of gauge limits) by the RIM

Critical Control 6 FITNESS FOR WORK IS VERIFIED FOR ALL PERSONS ON SITE AS WELL AS REQUIRED RAIL SAFETY WORKER COMPETENCIES HELDDo all workers have an RIW card Rolling stock operators and safeworking personnel require cat 1 medical assessment Are competencies of the rail safety workers in accordance with the competency matrix?Drug and alcohol testing is in placeHave you been trained in the fatigue management criteria for the project?
