What are GWACs? Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicles Flexible task/delivery order contracts for information technology (IT) Streamline acquisitions under FAR 16.505 (shorten time to award) No protests allowed on orders under $10M

What are GWACs? Cont’d. Available to DoD and all Federal Agencies No limit on individual task/delivery order value Provides access to the most highly qualified IT Contractors in the industry Technical capabilities Management capabilities Past performanceRigorous negotiations for competitive rates/prices

Benefits of GWACs Work can be incrementally funded (we set up the base and options ). Base can be relatively small to get contract set up . Base and options periods do not have to be one year. Solicitation period can be little as 24 hours to 30+ daysContract Types available: FP, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, LH, T&M Customer is involved throughout the life of the contract

Unique to Small Business Limitation of subcontracting on a cumulative basis, monitored at the master contract level Ordering agency receives credit towards all small business goals By selecting task area(s) and a socioeconomic category, you are able to control the number of eligible contract holder 8(a) Orders (FAR 19.804-6)Direct Orders: No Separate offers and acceptances required FAR 19.805-1 do not apply, as long as the original contract was competed An 8(a) concern may continue to accept new orders under a GWAC even after a concern’s program term expires exits the 8(a) program or becomes other than small
