Walls Of Jericho
The greatest obstacle to the city of Jericho was the walls that surrounded it
God had a particular plan for these walls, but it required obedience and faith from the Israelites (Josh. 6:1-5, 10)
What do we know about the walls of Jericho?Slide7Slide8Slide9Slide10Slide11
Walls Of Jericho
It’s obvious that without the help of God, the Israelites probably were not going to get into Jericho
That’s why God was involved in this battle
Children of Israel still had a role to play
They had to be obedient and have faith in God (Heb. 11:30; Josh. 6:20)Slide12
Walls Of Jericho
So what lessons do we learn from this?
Nothing is impossible for God (Matt. 19:26)
Faith in God is required if we expect God to help us with anything (Heb. 11:6; Js. 1:5-8)
Obedience is also a requirement of God (Heb. 5:9; Matt. 7:21)
Walls still exist today (II Cor. 10:3-5)
