Importance Of Charcoal Shampoo: Transcript

Its important to wash your hair especially if you use a lot of styling products and heat tools Shampoo can effectively remove dirt oil and product buildup from scalp and revitalise your locks How often you choose to wash your hair depends on your hair type and the kind of shampoo and conditioner you use If your shampoo and conditioner is from a conventional brand theres a chance it is full of silicones parabens or sulfates and made from lowquality materials Individually they can each be harmful to your hair but sometimes a combination of these ingredients are blended into a product that will cause severe damage to your hair and tricks it into looking clean when it is not. When trying to choose the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair, you’ll notice how ingredients vary from product to product, brand to brand. Each bottle is unique, promising the right combination to help your hair combat frizziness, increase volume and shine or boost natural hair growth. But how do you know if it is the right bottle for you? After a quick walk through the hair care isle at your local store, something caught your eye. In fact, you’re noticing it on more and more bottles of shampoo and conditioner: A sign or sticker on the bottle that says “SULFATE FREE”.

But what is a sulfate? Why is it important that your hair care products are sulfate free?

Sulfates are chemicals used as cleansing agents, and until recently, could be found in quite a lot of bottles of shampoo and conditioner. The two main types of sulfates used in hair care products are Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Your hair is uniquely your own. With a different style, colour, texture and growing cycle, no one in the world will have hair exactly like yours, not even those in your family. What that means is that you’ll have to put time and effort into perfecting your hair care routine, to prevent as little damage as possible and help your hair thrive in its natural state. Once you decide to grow your hair, it can feel like forever before you actually notice a difference in your length. And when you cut or trim your ends, somehow it feels even longer for your hair to grow back to its previous length and then surpass it. Unfortunately, there isn’t a magic lotion that will give you long flowing locks overnight. The key to growing long, healthy hair is patience, and a little bit of TLC. There is nothing worse than the look and feel of oily hair. The problem is that it’s completely natural, caused by an over-active sebaceous gland. Sebum benefits the hair, making it smooth, hydrated and strong, so it won’t dry out or break, but too much sebum will make your hair look slick and greasy. Sometimes, you over produce sebum because of internal factors like hormones, but other times it can be because of your hair care and beauty routine. Luckily, there are a few simple ways to naturally combat oily hair! When you look at the list of ingredients on your bottles of shampoo and conditioner, how many do you actually recognise and understand? Most people pick and choose their hair care products based on the promises made on the front of the bottle, and never bother to read the ingredients on the back. That can be very harmful to your hair, because if the shampoo is full of synthetic cleaning agents, it will do more harm than good. Run your hands through your hair from root to tip, but pay close attention to your ends. How do they feel? Are they soft and smooth, or are they rough, frizzy and split? If your ends are on the damaged side, your hair is in immediate need of some hydration. Shampoo is just shampoo, right?

Wrong.

In the beauty industry, there is no such thing as just shampoo. Hair care products are specially crafted and designed with your hair in mind, which means you can’t just grab any product off the shelf and hope it will work out for the best. Using the wrong shampoo would be detrimental to the health of your hair, but how do you choose when there are so many options and products to pick from? The simple solution is as follows: always use a natural shampoo. Natural shampoos are packed full of the right vitamins and minerals your body needs to maintain a balanced scalp and healthy hair. With that in mind, you can then look at the specifics of your hair and what it is telling you it needs to thrive. Perhaps you ends are craving moisture, so you choose an Aloe Vera shampoo, or maybe you want the elasticity and strength of your hair to increase, so you use a keratin shampoo. Whatever you need, you will definitely find the perfect natural shampoo for your hair, and never use another product again! Regular shampoo and clarifying shampoos are two completely different products, and it\'s ok if you didn’t already know that! Of course, now you’re thinking “But they both have shampoo in the name, how can they be different? What does a clarifying shampoo do?”. Great questions! Regular shampoo washes your hair and makes it clean, but a clarifying shampoo, like apple cider vinegar shampoo, is specially formulated to really deep clean your hair, by removing product and chemical build-up from your scalp and hair shaft. Some people are blessed with beautiful hair, already full of body, but for others, it can feel like a challenge to get even a touch of volume in your locks. What you need are some volume-building tricks. If your hair is struggling to hold a style, or if it’s looking limp and lifeless, or if your hair is just feeling weighed down, you are in immediate need of a volumizing shampoo. A volumizing shampoo can be used on all hair types and gives your hair an extra needed boost without weighing it down, and the best product to start with is a charcoal shampoo. How many different shampoos are you currently using? And no, different scents don’t count. If there is only a single bottle of shampoo in your shower, your hair is in big trouble and that care routine of yours is in desperate need of a revamp. For your hair to truly thrive, you should be alternating between at least two shampoos: a regular shampoo and a purifying shampoo. Purifying your hair is also known as detoxing, and it’s super important for your scalp. What you might not know is that it’s different from simply washing your hair with regular shampoo, and if you haven’t done it before, you’re in for a shocking surprise It’s time to start thinking about your hair the way you think about your body: in order for it to thrive, it needs vitamins, minerals, nutrients and lots of care! If you want to have long, strong and beautifully healthy hair, the same rules need to apply. While your body absorbs minerals and nutrients from the foods you eat, and this does affect your hair as well, your shampoo and conditioner have an even bigger impact. If your hair is dry, suffering from split ends, burnt from overusing heat styling tools or just feeling dull overall, you are in desperate need of a moisturising shampoo and a revitalizing shampoo. Luckily biotin can do both, bringing noticeable life back to your hair from the first wash. You might be surprised to learn what does an itchy scalp and an oily scalp have in common: They’re both signs of a scalp imbalance. A scalp imbalance can happy to anyone at any time in their hair cycle, but it is more likely to happen to you if you don’t look after your hair very well. External factors from the products you use and how much product you use, to internal factors, like changes in your hormone level, all play a part in scalp imbalance, and sometimes, a few causes can occur at the same time. You should be concerned about the health of your scalp when you feel tightness when you touch your scalp, see excessive dry flakes or red spots on your scalp, have very oily roots but flat, dull-looking hair, or start to experience hair loss. The good news is that you can easily rebalance your scalp. Start by switching to a natural shampoo and conditioner. You not only want the best shampoo for oily hair to help keep your locks clean, but one that will help invigorate your scalp to bring life back to your gorgeous locks, while soothing your scalp. Hair loss is much more common than you think, equally affecting both men and women. This can be caused by genetics, stress, medications, diets, overuse of heat styling tools and vitamin deficiencies, amongst other issues. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as the perfect hair care formula or special product that will give you beautiful, healthy hair in an instant. There is, however, a combination of natural ingredients that will help your hair become the best it can be, whatever your hair type.
