THE TRAIN UP TO MOVE UP PROJECT TUMU: The Train Up to Move Up (TUMU) project is a joint project with Zepf Center and Owens Community College, focused at empowering individuals to obtain education, training,and community based experiential learning needed To enter and/or advance in the behavioral healthcare field. ide • Case Manager ADDITIONAL SERVICES WILL INCLUDE: Success Coaching: Staff will help identify needs and develop strategies to remove barriers that impact classroom and online instruction, community experiential learning/internships, the workplace, and at home. Basic Skills Development: For participants who need Adult Basic Literacy Education classes to obtain their GED or up-grade basic skills to enter education and training programs in healthcare. Community Experiential Learning/Internships: Participants will complete internships in settings that expose them to prevention, treatment, and recovery services. Employer Services and Resources: Staff will provide assistance with job placement. Professional Development : Staff will provide opportunities to develop professionalism skills to all participants.
