Exploring our Backyard 

DSRC Camp Green Zone is surrounded by lush forest, backing up to the Potomac Watershed, perfect for hiking, nature exploration and outdoor water play. In addition, our campers get to cool off in our pools in between activities. We offer seven nature themed weekly sessions from June 20 through July 29 and August 22 – 26, 2016. The camp day is from 9 am to 3:30 pm, with a half day option for Junior Camp. ActivitiesGroup Tennis Lessons – A complete daily instructional program to maximize your child’s performance. Pioneering – Outdoor skills to teach teamwork and problem solving. Projects include bridge and shelter building, knot tying, lashing and more.Sports – DSRC property offers an array of environments for friendly competitions to boost your child’s self-esteem and teach good sportsmanship.Nature – We provide a low-keyed outdoor exploration utilizing scavenger hunts, hikes, sensory activities, observations, stories and crafts to keep alive their curiosity in the natural world.Group Time – A pause in the busy day to rejuvenate before we begin again! Campers enjoy supervised options with their peers.About DSCR Camp Director: Rosemary DeRose is an environmental educator with the Audubon Naturalist Society. She brings to DSRC 8 years experience as a camp instructor, program coordinator and director. Slide2
