HISTORICAL BACKGROUND« FAN S. NOLI » UNIVERSITY Was founded in 1971 as a “High Institute of Agriculture”. In January 1992 was given the name “Polytechnic University of Korca

” due to the specific needs of regional development.

In 1994 in honor of

Noli, was given his name.The mission, objectives & the legal status are defined in the statute of UNIKO.
