II TIMOTHY 2:19-21Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me3MAKING.THE.VALLEY.FULL.OF.DITCHES And I pray for this audience of people as they raise their hands. Many of them, Father, are maybe desperately in need of forgiveness, some besetting sin, some habits, some sickness, some disease or affliction, some loved one that's in trouble. Whatever it is, Father, I pray that You forgive and forget all their iniquity and heal all their diseases. And

pour out Thy blessings upon us tonight through the reading of the Word and the preaching of the Word. For we ask it in Christ's Name, Thy beloved Son. Amen

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me4QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS 242 May we prepare now, Lord. What a wonderful time it will be if we'll just prepare to meet You, Father, and prepare our hearts daily. And if we do make a mistake and fall, like this poor soul wrote in this question today, let them know that the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses all sin. That person don't mean to do that, Lord. They're hungering and thirsting, trying to come back up into that fellowship of the Spirit. Bring them up, Lord. Rise them up above this cloudy, dismal world: above, where the Sunshine can shine upon their souls again

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me6II TIMOTHY 2:21-22 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour

, and some to

dishonour

. If

a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto

honour

, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and

prepared

unto every good work.

Prepared:

(Gr.)

Hetoimazo

To

make ready, prepare: to make the necessary preparations, get everything ready; figuratively, drawn from the oriental custom of sending on before kings on their journeys persons to level the roads and make them passable; to prepare the minds of men to give the Messiah a fit reception and secure his blessingsSlide7

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me7ISAIAH 57:15For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a

contrite and humble spirit,

to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones

.Slide8

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me8Fierce: (hard) Gr. skleros Difficult to pass by without injury. Difficult to pass through without being affected, (eg. Laodicea).

ACTS

26:14

And

when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why

persecutest

thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks

.Slide9

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me9THE.SEVEN.CHURCH.AGES_ 69 You can get forgiveness for crucifying Jesus. You can get forgiveness for taking His Name in vain. "But who speaks against the Holy Ghost will never be forgiven him in this world or the world to come." We're in the last day; so be careful. Walk humbly. Have a contrite, broken spirit, a humble heart, willing to let the Holy Spirit lead you. Amen

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me10ELIJAH.AND.THE.MEAL.OFFERING 49 God tested Job like that. When Job asked for mercy, offered a sacrifice for his children, the only thing that that prophet had was a burnt-offering, but that was all God required. God doesn't require an education and a lot of nonsense; He requires a surrendered heart to His will. He doesn't ask you to dress in a certain way, or go to

certain

colleges, or degrees.

He asks for a humble, contrite, broken spirit, and a willing heart to receive Him.

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me11DEUT. 15:7-11 7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden

thine

heart, nor shut

thine

hand from thy poor brother

: 8 But

thou shalt open

thine

hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he

wanteth

. 9 Beware

that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and

thine

eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou

givest

him

nought

; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee

. Slide12

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me12 10 Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest

thine

hand unto. 11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open

thine

hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.Slide13

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me13STAND.STILL 22 The first thing looked at that Church being led natural, they had what? The Word. They had the promise. Through Abraham, had promised the time was at hand. They had a prophet, Moses. They had a Angel of God, a Pillar of Fire, a leading them. They had signs, and wonders, and miracles among them.

Why

, exactly. And here they was going on their road with all good faith. And come to a place where they were totally cut off at the Red Sea. It seemed as if all nature quivered for them. The skies could've wept. Everything, the mountains could have shook. They were in a terrible condition, a covenant people as you are, as we are, and had come up against the blockade. Slide14

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me14Maybe you're there tonight. Maybe it's in the way. Maybe you got an affliction; maybe you got a habit. Maybe it's some besetting sin that you can't lay down. Something has blocked your road. And the world was looking, saying, "Now, let's see how much he's going to keep his religion in this kind of a time." That's the way Israel stood. But Moses said, "Stand still and see the glory of God." Don't get flusterated. Stand still.

57-0518 Slide15

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me15PSALM 19:1-14 13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression

. 14 Let

the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer

.

Presumptuous:

(Heb.)

proud, insolent,

the

arrogant

ones.Slide16

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me16MALACHI 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

II PETER

2:9-10

9 The

Lord

knoweth

how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

10 But

chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government.

Presumptuous are they,

selfwilled

, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. Slide17

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me17What Shall We Do?Slide18

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me18HEBREWS 12:1-3 1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking

unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3 For

consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Slide19

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me19Patience: (Gr.) hupomone Steadfastness, constancy, endurance: in the NT the characteristic of a man who is not swerved from his deliberate purpose and his loyalty to faith and piety by even the greatest trials and sufferings: patiently, and

steadfastly.Slide20

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me20ROMANS 5:1-5 1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

3 And

not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation

worketh

patience;

4 And

patience, experience; and experience, hope:

5 And

hope

maketh

not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Slide21

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me21LOOK 110 Just like David's little rock in the sling, it went straight to its destination. So will your prayers go straight to its destination, 'cause it's offered in the Blood of Jesus Christ which cleanses you. There's not a sin or a spot on you nowhere. That's right. There can't be. As long as that Clorox is between me and God, how is He going to see my sin? How can He do it?

112 If

I make a sin, it's not willfully. "He that sins willfully after he receive the knowledge of the Truth.

"Slide22

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me22But there's no willful sin, yet you do sin. But you don't do it willfully, because, in your heart, you--you don't mean to do those things. 113 But when you do it willfully, it's different, then I think you wasn't there at the first place. Now, the thing of it is, is come to a place where that all the stain of sin is washed away. Then you stand, redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb. You are an Adam, like he was before he fell. You are a son of God, washed in the Blood of God's Own Blood.63-0428 Slide23

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me23PROVING.HIS.WORD Now, when I'm praying, God don't see me, He just hears my voice through the Blood of Jesus. See, He don't see me, He hears my voice. And that Blood there is to represent what I ask. Then He hears my voice, but He sees only the Blood. See, He don't see me, so I can't be dirty when I'm under the Blood. The Blood cleanses. See, He's the bumper between me and God, and promised,

"Ask the Father anything, I'll do it."

Do you believe that to be true

?

64-0816 Slide24

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me24IN.HIS.PRESENCE 97 He knows all things. He knows your heart. And you know what you're thinking; He does, too. If there's a little sin hanging on you tonight, and you wouldn't want to go in the Presence of God with that on you, would you once more raise up your hand and say, "Bro. Branham, pray for me, I want to be in His Presence at that day, guiltless."

God bless you. Many hands, God sees it. In His Presence.

Now

I'll tell you what you do.

Now just listen closely. Do like David did, put the Lord before you right now. Slide25

4/12/15Lord Prepare Me25 Put the Lord between you and that sin, whatever that little besetting sin is. It might be lying, might be stealing, it might be evil thinking, it might be temper, might be drinking, might be smoking, might be gambling. I don't know what. It might be lust, it might be anything. I don't know what it is. Whatever it is, put the Lord before you.62-0909
