Lev 23:6 On the fifteenth day of that month the LORD's Feast of Unleavened Bread begins; for seven days you must eat bread made without yeast. 1Co 5:7 Purge out therefore the

old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. 1Co 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven

, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened

bread of sincerity and truth.

Dan 7:25

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times

(appointed occasions)

and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time

FEAST OF TRUMPETS

Rosh Hashanah (

Hebrew: ראש השנה‎, literally means "head [of] the year“ or "first of the year"

Rosh Hashanah is a two day celebration which begins on the first day of

Tishrei

, the seventh month of the

Jewish calendar

. Slide13

Joe 2:23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the

first

month.

This Helps us understand Joel 2:23

Gods endings are also New Beginnings . He closes the old to bring us into a new beginning. He himself is the first and the Last and the finisher of our faith. Rev 1:8Slide16

FEAST OF TRUMPETS

In

Judism

this is Happy Birthday to the World. In

Judism

this is the day the world was created! Slide17

FEAST OF TRUMPETS

The first word in Hebrew in the Bible is

bereshit

,

בראשית,

we read it as “In the Beginning”

Bereshit

in Hebrew when you turn it around it can read the First of

tishri

,

Slide18

In

Judism they believe that this is the day that Isaac was bound to be sacrificed

It is believed that the offering of Isaac occurred on Rosh Hashanh and when Gods hears the sound of the shofar

he is moved to leave the seat of

Judgement

and move to a seat of mercy and forgiveness. There was a Ram caught in the thicket which represents Christ and the crown of thorns So the Rams horn is to remind him to show mercy and not

Judgement

.Slide19

FEAST OF TRUMPETS

Psa 89:15 (AMP) Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are the people who know the joyful sound [

who understand and appreciate the spiritual blessings symbolized by the feasts]; they walk, O Lord, in the light and favor of Your countenance!

Trumpets were used for

Calling Assemblies-Num 10:2

Journeying of camps-Num 10:2

Calling of Princes-Num 10:4

Blowing of Alarms Num 10:5-7

For war of enemy oppression Num 10:9

For Days of Gladness Num 10:10

For solemn Assemblies Num 10:10

For the Beginning of Months

For offerings and

Sacrificies

1Co 14:8

For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

We must know the sound that a trumpet makesSlide20

FEAST OF TRUMPETS

This Feast has many names which are significant for our understanding

Rosh Hashanah-means Head of the YearYom Teruah-means the day of the Awaking blast of the

shofar

, the rams

horm

. It is believed by the Jews to be the day of the first

ressurrection

of the dead. It is in the seventh month.Slide21

Num 29:1 And in the seventh month

, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation;(dress Rehersal

unto you.

1Co 15:51

Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

1Co 15:52

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the

last trump:

for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

This is the

Blast or Yom

TeruahSlide22

1Th 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 1Th 4:14

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive

and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1Th 4:18

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

3. Yom

Hadin- means Day of Judgement. The day the books are opened.

The Jews believe that there are three books that are opened during Rosh Hashanah.

The Book of Life, The Book of the Wicked, and the Book of the In between.

Dan 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment

was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

Dan 7:10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set,

and the books were opened. Slide24

The Book of RemembranceMalachi 3:16

spake

often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and

a book of remembrance

was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.

The Book of Tears

Psalm 56:8

Thou

tellest

my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in

thy book?

The Book of The Wars of the Lord

Numbers 21:14

Wherefore it is said in

the book of the wars of the Lord

, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of

Arnon

,

It is believed that the book of the in-between are people that and on the earth after the rapture of the Church. The ten days of awe are their time to get right before the Lords wrath is poured out on Yom KipperSlide25

according to their works.
