Template Editor 3 The Template Editor allows authors to rearrange the layout and to define configurations of page templates without the assistance of developers. The policies tree of editable templates has the same hierarchy as design mode configurations of static templates: /etc/designs/<site-name>/jcr:content/<component-name> Template types are a new concept—they act like templates of templates, and define the initial content for newly created templates

Adobe Experience Manager 6.2: New Features Overview Content Distribution Its a programmatic/operational way to move around content between AEM instancesReplication is granular in nature and replicating large trees (Tree replication UI) is very costly (and difficult to do programmatically).

Page-independent creation and curation of editorial content Rich text authoring environment Curate master content for page variation delivery in various channelsLocally stored in a content fragment for efficient reuse across a site Associated Content to curate relevant image and media content for accelerated web productionAdobe Experience Manager 6.2: New Features OverviewContent Fragments

Omni Search provides a new unified search experience in AEM. It allows users to search across different modules i.e. assets, sites, without switching between different UIs/admin screens. Adobe Experience Manager 6.2: New Features OverviewOmni Search

AEM Assets (on demand) lets you share assets, folders, and collections as a URL with members of your organization and external entities, including partners and vendors.  Sharing assets through a link is a convenient way of making them available to external parties without them having to first log in to AEM Assets.Adobe Experience Manager 6.2: New Features OverviewAsset Link Sharing

Smart Image Search (now called Smart Tags) is a service that tags images automatically using a deep learning based algorithm. These tags are then incorporated into search, so that under-tagged images can be found and the search results enriched. The tags are of generic nature (e.g., objects: car, lamp, salmon, subjects: man, woman, group of people, mood: sad, happy, smile, image properties: motion blur, macro, portrait, etc.)Adobe Experience Manager 6.2: New Features OverviewSmart Image Search

With AEM forms, you can create themes and apply them to your forms. A theme contains styling details for components and panels, and you can reuse a theme on different forms. You can specify styles for a component, or modify CSS properties for various components used across your application.Adobe Experience Manager 6.2: New Features OverviewForms Theme Editor

The rule editor feature in Adobe Experience Manager Forms empowers forms business users and developers to write rules on adaptive form objects. These rules define actions to trigger on form objects based on preset conditions, user inputs, and user actions on the form.
