When a Voucher is used for Payment
Write the participant number on the voucher
Indicate the tests that were purchased with the voucher
(if different than shown on the voucher)
Mark the Participant Form that the Payment Method was “Voucher”
Put the Voucher in the Cash Box

If a participant does not want to purchase any tests, place a “0” in the total box
Remove the WHITE AND GREEN receipts
Both copies will be returned to 9HF

Machine must be plugged in – extension cords are not supplied
Must be in “Batch Auth Mode” when starting. Call Dave if problems.
Machine IS NOT online – telephone line is not needed.
Transactions are batched & downloaded later by others.
Card must be properly oriented
No decimal points when entering amounts: 6500 = $65

Refunds are done by pressing the “Void” key first and entering the Reference No. from the receipt. (Even if it is a partial refund, void the original transaction and run the participant’s credit card for the correct amount.)
End of Fair Report is easily done by following instructions

Lay the roll in being sure the paper unrolls from the bottom
Close the top

Online Registration Almost all sites offer Online Registration
Advantages of Online Registration
Payment is made in advance (online) using a credit card
Participant gets results electronically
Participants who register Online will print their own forms and bring them to the fair they signed up for
Sites which offer Online Registration will have a separate station to manage these participants. YOUR CASHIERS WILL NOT PROCESS Online Registrants because they are not paying at the fair.
If a participant comes to your site with a pre-registration form from another site, they will be allowed to attend your fair and their information will be written on the Online Exception Report
At the end of the fair, the Online Registration Volunteer will bring you the Online Sign In Sheet and the Online Exception Report. Please return these with the rest of your paperwork.Slide17
