Debutante Ball Attire – Debs , Moms , and Fem ale Guests The Jack & Jill of America, Inc. Houston Chapter’s Debutante Ball is always a strictly Black Tie Formal Affair. It is required that both men and women attend the Ball in Formal Attire . DEBUTANTES/ MOTHERS  Debutantes are expected to dress appropriately for each event.  Debutantes' presentation attire is detailed in the Ball information presented to the Debutante Mothers at the first meeting.  Debutante Mothers are required to wear Floor Length Formal Gowns. The colors of the gowns should be bright and brilliant. Avoid the colors of white (reserved for Debutantes) and black.  Gloves (required for Debutantes, optional for other females) must be purchased. FE MALE GUESTS  All female guests must be dressed in Floor Length Formal Dresses ONLY .  Avoid white (reserved for Debutantes, restricted for any other females attending the ball)... women wearing black will be admitted to the ball however, vibrant/jewel toned colors are al ways welcome.  Pants are not appropriate formal attire and are not allowed.  Please Note: any female guest who arrives to the Debutante Ball with a tea length dress (above the ankles), sculptured dress (showing ankles), any dress not full length completely a round at the hemline, a white gown of any style, and/or pants (any style) will not be allowed admittance in to the Ball.
