So does the Sun move around the Earth?
No, the world is ROTATING (turns around)
When we are facing the sun, it is daytime and when we are not facing the sun, it is night time.
SO, using this knowledge, for one merit, who can tell me how long it takes the Earth to rotate once? (CLUE, think about how many hours there are in one day)
24 HOURSSlide12
What happens to the temperature at night?
It gets colder
Why do you think this happens?
Because the sun is not shining on us and the sun provides us with heat as well as light.
