USNRC Technical Training Center610703 All living creatures from the beginning of time have been and are still being exposed to radiation. If you are una ble to complete any aspect of this form using the selections available within the fo rm you should complete Form 2 instead This form is intended for electronic completion and submission to enable fasttracking of the application Hand w USNRC Technical Training Center6-10703 All living creatures, from the beginning of time, have been, and are still being, exposed to radiation. Matt Walsh . October 3, 2014. Presentation Overview. PFRC will produce at least 100 times fewer neutrons than a D-T burning reactor. Neutron radiation is still damaging, but PFRC will require much less shielding than a D-T Tokomak (less than a meter compared to several meters). Sealed Source Radioactive Material. Sealed sources are radioactive materials encased or "sealed" inside metal or plastic and can take many different forms, sizes and shapes. All forms share some type of encapsulation that prevents their radioactive contents from leaking or dispersing, barring tampering or a severe accident. In some forms, the radioactive material is an inherent part of the source and cannot be separated. . Briefing for SEAB. 20 June 2014. Patricia M. Dehmer. Acting Director, Office of Science. U.S. .
