We can vote in the people who govern us.. We have laws that protect us.. No one is above the law.. We have the freedom and protection to choose and hold the belief / faith we want.. Put your hand up if:. You have brown hair. Wear glasses. Have a brother or sister. Like football. Can speak another language. You like swimming in the sea! . You like Brussel sprouts!. Diversity in Britain. Our last thought for the day focussed on diversity.. How does the idea of diversity reflect modern Britain?. This is what we stereotype as being British.. What is a stereotype?. . We are committed to promoting key British values through our ethos and wider curriculum. We pride ourselves on our inclusive environment and ensure that ALL children are taught to understand, appreciate and respect diversity in order that they may relate to and embrace the world we live in at local, national and international levels. British values are central to all we do and are closely linked with our school core Christian values of Respect, Fairness, Forgiveness, Service and Kindness.. Spring Primary School. John .
